Based on all I've read and heard in the sensible corners of the internet over the course of the last couple of years, like Sheriff Mack and the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, the approach that is most likely to succeed in restoring our liberties is from the bottom, up. We need local governments in cities like El Cajon in San Diego County, CA telling the County government that they can take their church lockdown edicts and shove them. Also here in California and in many other states across the country there are entire county governments and directly-elected sheriffs telling their state governments to take their illegal edicts and mandates and shove them where the sun don't shine.

I've never gotten at all involved in politics before, but after attending a few Board of Supervisors meetings I am now volunteering my time and money to help a pro-freedom candidate who is running for a position on that Board. I know others who are focusing their attention on City Councils or local school boards. It seems as if the amount of energy each of us can contribute to a movement is somehow synergistically amplified by interacting in person with others who share our objectives. I believe that getting personally involved on a local level is pretty much the most important thing each of us as individuals can do.
